Issue: When plotting in AutoCAD using a PC3 file the plot comes out, out of scale, off the center of the page, or just not the right size.
Solution: To fix this issue, uninstall the printer and install it with the latest drivers: Go to Devices and Printers in Windows and right click on the printer in question. Click 'Remove Device' from the drop down menu.
If this is a network printer, make sure the IP address is known before removing the printer as this will be needed to reconnect.
Search online for the latest drivers for the printer and download them to the desktop. Feel free to extract them and place them in a folder. Next, go back to the Devices and Printers page and click on add a printer in the upper left hand corner.
A window will appear and choose the last option at the bottom "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings". It is necessary to choose a printing port for a network printer. Expand the branch for the device that you want to check the driver version. Right-click the device and select the Properties option. Click the Driver tab. Check the installed driver version of the device. Select the type s of settings you want to export from the list, and then press this button.
You can download a printer driver without the printer itself being connected to your computer. Make sure printing is enabled and the print spooler is clear on your Android smartphone or tablet. Open Settings on your mobile device, tap Connected devices or Connections, and then tap Printing.
A Run dialog box will open. Type printmanagement. In the left pane, click All Drivers. In the right pane, right-click on the printer driver and click Delete on the pop-up menu. Add the printer again. Click the [Setup] tab. Click [About]. The [About] dialog box appears. Check the version.
